Peter Yates selling FOTN memorabilia

If you're an FOTN fan and you're not following Peter Yates on Facebook, you should be. Not only is he an interesting guy, but he's currently going through his massive archive/museum of FOTN memorabilia, posting photos and telling stories, and selling some items on eBay. Right now there are just a few backstage passes for sale, but more is on its way. I loved this little story he told today, posted with a photo of the USA tour itinerary for 1988:
Precious to the Lost Part 3 - America tour itinerary 1988. 27/11/88 - 8/12/88. One of my favourite tours, partly for the drive along the west coast of the U.S.A. and partly for Chicago. Tony Pettitt and myself hailed a cab and asked the driver to take us to the best blues club in Chicago after we'd played at the Metro on 3/12/88. We drove for miles, it got increasingly desolate and dangerous, the cab pulled up and the driver knocked on a steel door. A small window opened and we went in. That night was amazing, the greatest session blues players who'd played with the Stones and all the rest were all in there. And they thought we were in Guns n' Roses...

Read Peter Yates' First Novel

Peter Yates, one of the original guitarists for Fields of the Nephilim, announced today that he has written a novel, The Lift, and will be sharing it chapter-by-chapter over at Wattpad.com. The first chapter is up. Yates has tagged it as adventure/fantasy, and is hoping to attract fans of Iain Banks and John Steinbeck.
